I have lost the ability to format on new messages the color of the page and
also am unable to change the color of the Fonts no matter what font or
sizing.
I noticed that on new messages (before any writing) if I click in the
writing area the paste button flickers in the tool bar. I am on XPsp2
Is there a fix for this problem?

Thanks

The paste button flickering is normal

You need to give us more details about exactly what steps you are performing. Are you using plain text or HTML email in the compose window?

HTML

The problem seem to have surface after I downloaded Microsoft Accounting
2007 with the SQL Server. It may be a coincidence.

Thanks for responding

On the message : Create message - Format - background color

Coding shows: "Western European" ISO

Format: Rich Text HTML

Another problem I am having is:
(Navigate)
New Message - Format -Picture

Outlook does not perform the functions of embedding on any type of picture
including it's Stationery on the message dialog box.

Navigate: New Message - Format - Picture - Browse - File structure = C:
Programs - Common Files - Microsoft Shared - Stationery.

The file contains approximently 12 pictures that open to a picture viewer
OK.

Other problem discovered:

Calendar has lost it's holidays. When I download Holidays (USA) the machine
states OK but they never show up. (Same with other countries) If I go back
and redo the "add" holidays it states the holidays are there. All other
functions including "ADD Birthdays" = OK.

Thanks

What happens when you navigate to Message/New Message Using/Stationery and select one of those themes. Does this apply the selected Stationery?

You lost me talking about the Calendar? Is this Microsoft Office Outlook or Outlook Express? Outlook Express does not have a calendar.

On the Message - Stationery Themes - I only receive a small unrecognizable
line at the top. I selected four. It was in distorted in color probably
because of size.

The calander was incidental and around the same time frame as the Outlook
problem and coinsided with the download of Accounting 2007 and the SQL.

Thanks
Dennis

Ron; There is another message on "one" of the boards with the same problem.
I lost directions to it. I will try to find it.

Right click the IE icon on the desktop and choose Properties.
Click the Accessibility button and make sure nothing is checked.
Check the Colors button and make sure "Use Windows colors" is checked.
