I would like to store my Outlook Express message files on a CD and then
reload them into Outlook Express after I reload XP. How do I do this?
Thanks,

Right click on you OE Inbox and select properties, that will show you the
path to where are your email folders and msgs are stored. They will all
have a .dbx file extension. Just copy that folder to the cd. To reload,
copy the folder from the cd to a temp directory on your new machine. In OE
click File, Import, Messages, then select OE6 and then "Import from an OE6
store folder" and navigate to that temp folder.

Thanks so much.

Right click on the dbx files and uncheck the Read Only attribute.
