I'm using Outlook Express as my newsreader for Outlook. When I try and reply
to a posting, a dialog pops up that has a check box with no label, three
buttons with no labels and no title on the dialog. No matter what
combination of buttons/check box I select, I can't send the reply.

I have looked through the Windows updates for some fix, but haven't seen
any. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Would I need to re-install
Outlook Express or Outlook?

Sorry if I can't reply!
Thanks,
Sam

Hi

Try the microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress news group.

If MS Outlook is your default Mail Client, you should open the newsreader
via Outlook View>Go to>News. This will open the 'Outlook Newsreader' which
is really Outlook Express in disguise.

You should not open a separate instance of OE in order to use the
newsreader.

IE Tools>Internet Options>Programs>News>Outlook (should be selected).

If you're still having problems after making the above changes, see

With much headache... and going through every fix in the MS knowledge base,
except editing the registry, I finally got it working... I think.

I finally went to the IE page and downloaded the IE service pack (I had done
that before and it didn't work), ran it and that seemed to fix the problem.

Thanks for all the help!
