Outlook Express error when trying to spell check

We have OE and Outlook both installed on our system. When we use
Outlook, which is used mainly for calendar applications and not email,
the spell checker works fine. However, when using OE 6 which is our
main email app., OE 6 errors on the spell check.

I have verified that the registry entries for the spell checker are
pointing to the correct folder but still have not been able to resolve
this issue.

Anyone have any suggestions? TIA!

Start/search/files for csapi3t1.dll, copy it to these folders:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\PROOF
C:\Program Files\Outlook Express

You da man! The computer I use was configured by corporate for using
Outlook and I do use Outlook for calendar and scheduling but I prefer
OE for email.

There were no occurrances of the file "csapi3t1.dll" on the system but
there was a compressed version in a folder that had been put onto the
computer by the IT folks called i386 and I just used Expand to put the
file into the correct locations that you gave me and spell check works
fine now.
