When up or downloading large emails with attachments that take a long time on
a dial up connection I constantly get the message "Your SMTP server has not
responded in 5 minutes, do you want to continue waiting".
In Account Properties I have set the "Server Timeout" slider to the longest
interval which is 5 minutes. My upload takes an hour so the message keeps
popping up in the middle of my screen.
Is there any way to get rid of this stupid message?
Why doesn't outlook acknowledge that the server is responding when I am
constantly downloading or uploading a file?
Why does microsoft let stupid, obvious problems like this get published?
