Outlook Express email composition problem

I am hoping someone can help me, when creating or replying to a message in
Outlook Express (V6), while I am typing the cursor jumps around the screen at
random intervals and the text continues to be written so that in the end its
all over the place.

Does anyone know why this is happening or can suggest a fix for it?

Is you're machine a laptop? If so, your fingers could be brushing
across the touch pad. If this is the case, lowering the sensitivity
on the touch pad may help.

If you don't have a laptop, you may have a virus or spyware on your
system. Make sure that your definitions are up to date and scan your
system for these.

Thanks for the response the PC is a laptop I will look at the settings and
turn them down as I use a separate mouse on a USB cable when using it.
