outlook express doesn't recognize password

OE willnot recognize my password.I filled in the blanks as instructed but
every time I pull up the program, I get this little box asking for my
passowrd. Once I type it in, the box goes away. If I am away for a little
while, I get the box again. Why won't it reocgnize my password? PS: I am
running IE7 (which I hate). Does that come with a new version of OE?

97/98/2000/2002/2003/2007 from the Office suite of products. Outlook
Express is actually a separate program despite the similar name.
