outlook express disconnects me

every time i try to check my email in outlook express it
disconnects me from the internet...can anyone help me out?
 
Hi Will,

Tools/options/connection tab, uncheck the option to "hang up after sending
and recieving".

i tried what you suggested and it was already
unchecked...right when I opened OE again to do what you
suggested, it disconnected me again..
 
don't know if my other message went through...your
suggestion didn't work and it disconnected me again when
i opened OE...any other suggestions? Thanks
 
Hi Will,

Check Internet Options/connection tab and see if OE is set as the email
client.

How long has this been happening?
Have you tried turning that option on, then back off?

OE Tools>Accounts>Mail>[mail account(s)]>Properties>Connection> What are
your settings here?
