OUTLOOK EXPRESS DEFAULT MAIL

I can't seem to figure out how to make outlook express my
default e-mail. When I am at a web site that says click
here to e-mail, I get an error message that says could
not perform this operation because the default mail
client is not properly installed.
Anyone have a clue as to how I can fix this ???
Any input would be appreciated.

Open Internet Exporer and go to Tools>Internet Options>Programs>E-mail.
Then from the drop dowwn menu, select Outlook Express then select Apply then
OK.
 
Additionally, click Start, Run and enter MSIMN.EXE /REG

If Outlook Express doesn't show up in the list of available e-mail clients, Visit my web site, www.dougknox.com and go to the Win XP Fixes section. Follow the link for Restore OE to the E-mail Clients List.
