Outlook express corrupted? Log-on screen keeps popping up!

Hello out there,
Hoping someone could assist with the problem of my logon screen popping up
continually when trying to logon. Also, suddenly the password box is grayed
out. Recently, I tried to install a router which screwed up my IP address
info, causing internet access problems. Comcast got me back connected, NOW--
Outlook Express suddenly doesn't work! Comcast walked me through the
troubleshooting steps, but nothing. They suggested Microsoft's site. Thanks
for any assist.
