Outlook Express Combining and Decoding

I have been using Outlook Express to read my newsgroups for years, I have
used the combing and decoding feature with no problems until recently.

Now when I combine and decode instead of getting a file with the item, i get
a display of the code in the item. I think it is a setting somewhere, but I
cant seem to find or fix the problem.

Can anyone offer any assistance?

The posts that you are trying to combine and decode aren't yEnc encoded are
they? If so you will need a separate yEnc plugin.

Have you recently installed a new antivirus or antispam program - some of
these don't like multipart messages.

Alternatively turn preview mode off when combining & decoding, once the
process has completed the first email in the series should show a paperclip
next to it.
