Outlook Express and receiving Adobe pdf files

I have Microsoft Outlook Express 6.0

I have been sent emails containing Adobe pdf attachments
recently. When I go to the paperclip to open them
the "filename".pdf and "save" are greyed out.

I have Norton Internet Security 2004, just installed.
Before that I used Norton Antivirus 2003. The problem is
the same for both of them.

When I download .pdf's from web pages, I do not have a
problem which suggests it is Outlook Express.

Any suggestions please?

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup (Hint: Tools>Options>Security)
