New user questions

What is the difference between these programs
I have emails coming into Outlook Express but the same emails are not showing up i
Outlook. Do I have something set up wrong? Outlook always asks if I want it to be my defaul
email. I say no to keep my options open. Is this part of the problem

Thank You in advance for your help

Hi

Yes, keeping your options open is part of the problem.
Outlook Express and Outlook are not inter-linked, they
both store mail in seperate files and do not share. The
only thing they do share is the address book.

You should decide which email program you like the best
and stick to it.

For info: Outlook Express is a skimpy version of
Outlook. Outlook is much more powerful and has many
additional features such as a calendar, diary, notebook,
task scheduler etc...

I hope this helps.

They do not share the address book without some work. By default, they are
totally separate.

I use them both, since they both have distinct functionality.

Pure balderdash.

additional features such as a calendar, diary, notebook,
task scheduler etc...

And this is why I said what I did. Outlook Express is not a subset of
Outlook. Never has been.
