Outlook Express 6 and Yahoo

I am trying to set up my Outlook so I can send and
recieve my email like I can with Hotmail. Does anyone
have theirs setup with Yahoo? If so can you help me out
this is the link that I used and followed it exactly is

I know it says Microsoft Outlook and doesn't say Outlook
Express but is that the the problem because I filled in
all the areas for POP3 and the rest of the server info
and when I tried to use the Send/Recieve it would pop up
with the Login in screen and give this error:

There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your
Password was rejected. Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com',
Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '-ERR Error logging in. Please visit
http://mail.yahoo.com', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

Don't know what the issue is my password is good cause I
can login if I just go to Yahoo. Would appreciate your
help!

So, have you actually paid Yahoo so you have an account with them so you
can authenticate to their POP3 and SMTP servers? Or are you trying to
use a freebie Yahoo webmail account? In the latter scenario, use
YahooPOPs.
 
Yeah after I researched a little last night they want to
charge you $19.95 so you can use the POP3 services for
other accounts such as Outlook. But I'll try the other
you mentioned. Thanks
 
Only US Yahoo accounts will charge you for POP3 services. Sign on for any foreign Yahoo mail account (Franc, UK,Italy,etc) and POP3 services are free
