I need to export contact data to a spreadsheet, and I'd
like to export the street address in its separate lines
rather than with embedded carriage returns. There are
*addressstreet2 and *addressstreet3 fields available for
mapping in the export dialog, but if I use them, they are
not populated. Is it possible to export the street
address disaggregated, or do I have to deal with it after
I have exported it?

thanks

Tim

Customize your current view to a table view with those columns shown. Then
select the whole table and copy & paste it into an Excel spreadsheet. It
beats the use of the export function every time :-)

Those fields don't exist - they're not part of the
Outlook object model.

Perhaps a simpler way to frame my question is, is there
any way to export the street address as separate lines?

thanks

When you add your columns by changing your View make sure you select to show
all contact fields. Here you'll have 3 entries for address (just like in the
Contact form); Work, Home and Other.
You can't export them as seprate lines. What are you trying to accomplish
and with what version of Outlook?

I need to export the address (only Home address in fact)
with the street address as separate fields (because
embedded carriage returns can't be processed by our
printer who is doing a mailshot to our customers). I can
break out the addresses in Excel once I have them there,
but the export dialog already contains the fields
*addressstreet2 and 3, so I wonder if I can use them to
export the addresses already broken out.

thanks, tim

I fiddled with it a bit more and found a way to do it.

-Change your view to Address Cards view
-Customize the view so that both addresses show
-Select All
-Copy
-Paste in Excel
