When I try to send a email on Outlook, the error reads host "SMPT" could not
be found and to make sure I have the server name correct, the account is set
up as pop3.netzero.com (default) what am I doing wrong?

Check your *outbound* mail server settings. SMTP is "Simple Mail Transfer
Prototcol" and is how your computer will *send* mail (POP is for
receiving) - it sounds like there's just a sort of placeholder text in the
server name field. If you don't know what it's supposed to be, ask your
ISP/mail host for help.

Contact NetZero to get the settings, we don't know.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
