I'm having 2 problems with outlook messages.

1. when I get an e-mail ready to send and click the
address book icon, I get a message

"The address book could not be displayed. The Contacts
folder associated with this address book could not be
opened; it may have been moved or deleted, or you do not
have permissions. For information how to remove this
folder from the Outlook Address Book, please see
Microsoft Outlook help."

My contacts are all in the contacts section along with
the e-mails. This problem started occuring when I
switched from a 5GB harddrive to a 20GB harddrive. I
thought that I got all the files copied correctly.

2. I am unable to locate how to send a BCC message. I
used to be able to do this simply when looking through
the contacts and selecting the recipients. Now that I
have the other above listed problem, I can't get any way
to send a BCC message. I get the TO and CC areas but no
BCC.

Thanks for your help...
Diana

What version of Outlook for the first problem?

For the second, while in a message, select View->BCC.

1. Remove your Outlook Address Book and then re-add it. If your using a
Personal Address Book I would also remove it from outlook and then re-add
that also. Then try it again and see what happens.

2. After doing #1 then try doing your #2 and I hope it will work for you.

I hope this helps and that I understood your Question

Thanks

You will need to check to see if the Address book service has been added.
Sometimes upgrades will mess this up.

Tools->email account->directories->view or change - if on the next page you
do not have an Outlook Address Book service installed, back up one window
and install it.

Don't re-add the Personal Address Book service. Outlook 2002, which is what
the OP said she uses, does not employ that service. Addresses are all kept
in Contacts.
