Outlook Doesn't shut down completely

Does anyone know why Outlook 2K sometimes doesn't shut down completely under
WinXP Home?

Here's what happens: every now and then--with no seeming regularity or
predictiveness--Outlook won't shut down, EVEN THOUGH the program's GUI is
gone. If I do a CTRL+ALT+DEL, there's outlook.exe running on the processes
list!!

Any feedback on this would be most appreciated.

Are you running Activesync also? If so I am having the

same problem. Turning off Activsync fixes it but I am not
sure why it is happening.
