Hi guys!

Please forgive me if there is similar question asked in
this forum, but my eyes are bulb-sized after trying to
solve this problem:

outlook (2000) on one of desktops in my company keeps sent
messages in outbox folder. I found some other people having
problem like this, but in my case messages ARE sent to
their destination! They are bold and stuck in the outbox,
but sent!

The other email clients (Outlooks, Eudoras, OEes,...)
behave just fine, so i think the problem is that outlook
and not the server.

Clues?

Best wishes

Outlook connected to a microsoft exchange mailbox (using Exchange transport)
or are you working with a POP/IMAP/SMTP account? The reason that I ask is
that for an Exchange mailbox, there is a possibility that you are not
receiving a UDP packet from the Exchange server. This is quite normal when
the built-in firewall is on or end user is behind a NAT router and the
Exchange box is the other side of it.

If working with POP/IMAP/SMTP account, have you tried running the Inbox
repair tool (scanpst.exe) against your *.PST file to rule out any minor
corruption? Have you tried starting Outlook 1 time with the /resetfolders
command line switch?
