Outlook diabling links in my incomming messages

All of the sudden, Outlook is disabling links in all incoming E-Mail
messages. I do get a notice at the top of the screen that "links are
disabled, click here to enable (not recommended)", I can click there and
it re-enables them. But I want links fully enabled by default at all
times, like it was until last week (when I think I installed an Office
patch or service pack from Microsoft Update).

Does anyone know either where the settings are to fully enable links, or
the manual registry patch that I would need to make? [I've already
installed one to allow .exe and other potentially dangerous attachments).

Thanks

Not all of a sudden. It started happening when you installed Office 2003
SP2.

Click Actions>Junk E-mail>Junk E-mail Options and uncheck "Don't turn on
links in messages..." at the bottom of the Options tab.

It always pays to read the documentation on service packs to find out what
changes they'll make.

Ok, no one helped me with this, but it happens, by sheer coincidence,
that it was discussed in a newsletter that I received just today.

It's part of a new series of "anti-phishing" measures that were added to
the junk E-Mail system in the most recent update/service pack (that I
just installed last week). So if you have not experienced this for
yourself, you probably will.

The behavior can be turned off: tools / options / E-Mail / Junk E-Mail,
then uncheck the box labeled "Don't turn on links in messages that might
connect to unsafe or fraudulent sites .....".

Try reading the response you DID get. I told you the exact same thing seven
hours before you claim "no one helped."
