Outlook Detect and Repair

Outlook 2000 Detect and Repair function no longer works. I get an error
message saying that it cannot find file "DATA1.MSI". Is there a fix for
this behavior?

The DATA1.MSI file should be on your Outlook (or Office) CD. If you've
installed patches to Outlook, then it should be in one of the subfolders of
%WinDir%\Installer.
 
Thanks for your response. I actually found out that it was my CD-ROM drive
that was the culprit. I tried using the disc in my other drive and it
worked fine.
