Outlook deletes my emails

I am using Outlook 2002 on Windows XP. I have four email addresses all in
Outlook. When I try and send an email between addresses, the mail is
immediately deleted as soon as it hits my inbox. This also happens if I send
a mail from Outlook Express to Outlook but not the other way around.

Any help on getting this sorted out would be greatly appreciated.

Any rules?

I have a client that is isung Outlook 2003 and the same thing is happening.
When 10 messages come in only the last one or 2 stay. There are no rules set
up. What else have you tried?

Thank you for your replies. I do have about 100 rules set up but have
checked each one individually. Have gone so far as to create a new rule
sending copies of the emails to another folder. This seems to work for a few
days and then Outlook deletes these mails again. I contacted Microsoft and
they confirmed my idea that it may be my rules. They suggested that I delete
all my rules and start again but I get so much spam that it will take me
years to get the right rules set up again and there is no guarantee that this
is even the cause. They also suggested re-installing Outlook but then I lose
large amounts of emails. I am incredibly frustrated with this and can't seem
to find a way around it.

Get a SPAM filter like http://spambayes.sourceforge.net/ . Don't rely on
rules to filter SPAM.
They also suggested re-installing Outlook but then I lose large
amounts of emails.

Not necessarily. Just save a copy of your PST to another folder.
