Anyone having this trouble? After the major Windows
security update of a couple days ago, Outlook (I'm using
2002 on WinXP) will not load on the first attempt. After
freezing, you must CTRL-ALT-DEL to close it via the task
manager. Re-launching the program usually gets it to
work, but it is much slower to start up and load. I have
talked to several other people who have experienced the
same anomolies. I have sufferred this problem on two
different coumputers using two different ISP's (one
cable, one dsl).

Me too except that I can't get it to start up at all. I
am also running outlook 2002 on winXP Pro....

My problem is similar. I am running Outlook 2000 with XP
professional on my home computer. After I downloaded the
update of last week (about Feb 5 or so), each time I use
another software program when I am running Outlook 2000,
my error messaging system comes up. I then click on "send
error message" (or whatever) and when it is done I click
on "Close". When the error messaging system closes, it
shuts down Outlook 2000 with it. I then have to restart
2000 again. I have a support request in to get help with
Microsoft.
