Are you sending plain text messages? It sounds like the recipient's mail
client either uses a different font or doesn't understand Unicode.

Outlook is converting UK Sterling £ sign to ú on outgoing emails.
Can anyone provide me with an explanation and how I may stop this
happening.
TIA
Bill
It happens whether we send in Plain Text, RTF or HTML.
I have tried sending test patterns to my home email, and to yahoo
accounts. I have accessed these from both home and the office computer
from which they were sent the result is the same, it converts £ to ú and
ú to ·
the results are shown below
------------------------------------------------------
As Sent As Received
test1 - Plain Text test1 - Plain Text
