In outlook 2003 How do you set contact catagories for each contact. This
version doesn't have the drop down box with the catagory selections

Thanks a million!!

Joe

Nothing has changed.
Categories button is right where it always was in the New Contact Form.

Russ,

Thank you for your response, I don't see the catagories button on the new
contact form. I'm wondering if it got turned off or changed during the setup?

Describe what your "setup" entailed and whether you are or were using any
custom forms.

The setup was the normal "Office XP" typical setup.

I have no idea what a "normal setup" means. "Microsoft" and "normal" do not
even belong in the same sentence.
First you said Outlook 2003. Now you say Office XP. Which is it?
Let me ask it this way. Did you install Office clean or as an upgrade? Did
the installation send any error messages or fail to find any files?
Were you ever using any custom forms?
Something is wrong with your installation. The Categories button is right
where it always was.
