I like to create sub folders under the main contacts
folder to distinguish between different types of
contacts. ie Business, family etc. When I do this
however, I find the reminder follow up flags do not work.
Any one with ideas?

Don't use sub-folders, use Categories. Keep everything in the main folder
and use categories and views to seperate them.

If you really must use subfolders check out Ken Slovak's "Extended
Reminders" to get the reminders to fire out of the subfolders.

Thanks Ben, great tip. At least now I know it cannot be
done. I understand it will work if I place them all in
main folder, but I tend to have so many different types
of contacts! I am going to give the extended reminders a
go as I also wondered why I never got reminders from
Flags I set on Sent Items Folder. Now I know. Thanks
again.

That's what Categories are for.
