Is there any know trick to get Outlook to connect to two exchange servers
simultaneously.

I know that this is not supported. I know I can use OWA and Outlook. I know
I can set up multiple profiles with different exchange servers. I know I can
even specify which profile to load via the desktop icon/shortcut target
(c:\...outlook.exe /profile <name>).

BUT I am guessing someone has figured out some way to accomplish this.

Or...is there a way to have multiple instances of outlook running
simultaneously (each one pointing to a different profile)

thanks

No way that I know of. Apparently, Entourage (for Mac) can accomplish this,
though.

You can add additional mailboxes to one profile on mailbox can be on server
the other mailbox on another server.so you can be in outlook and access two
different mailboxes on different servers

It is true that you can do this, assuming both servers are in the same
organization. However, if the servers are in different orgs, there is no
way. Entourage uses WebDAV, which apparently does not have the same
limitations that MAPI does.
