Outlook changes ' to ???

Hi all,

I have a strange problem with Outlook 2003. When I compose an email,
all of the ' get changed to ???. For example, if I want to write
that's, it will show as that???s at the recipients end. It looks fine
in the sent items, but many different recipients have reported it to
me. I have compared the settings with another PC and cannot see
where I am going wrong

Tools > Options > Mail Format > International Options

Are you using the Outlook editor or Word? Have you checked the Language and
Regonal Settings in Control Panel o make sure they're all correct?

Brian, thanks for your help so far. I am using Word as an editor.
The settings in control panel seem to be correct.
