1st get this when invoke outlook and then outlook is shut
down 90 percent of time: Cannot start microsfot office
outlook. unable to open the outlook window. teh set of
foldes could not be opened. teh server is not available.
contact your administrator if this conditions persists.

other 10 percent of time, get second message:

An extension failed to initialize. Can't open file:
extend.dat. The file may not exist, you may not have
permission to open it, or it may be open in another
program. Right-click the folder that contains the file,
and then click Properties to check your permissions for
the folder.

I have tried everything i can think of to changing
permissions, etc. to try to get outlook to open. It
started doing this out of the blue and if i could figure
out why, i would fix it but have no idea!!!!!!!!!!!11

First, try a new mail profile here: Control Panel->Mail Icon->Show Profiles.

If that does not fix it, then find extend.dat and rename it to extend.old.
Then reopen Outlook.
