Outlook Calendar problem

Every time I go into my appointment calendar and put
something on the calendar, I get the following message:

"Unable to update public free/busy data. The contents of
this public folder are currently unavailable. Either the
Microsoft Exchange Server Computer servicing this public
folder is down or the publid folder has not been
replicated to this site. See your administrator." My
administrator indicated he was unable to find a solution
via Microsoft and I would just have to live with this
little pop up message.

There has to be a way to fix this. It started right after
we had a power outage of 3 minutes.
