Outlook calendar appointments on Mac

We keep our family calendar on Outlook, by sending 'invitations' to
'events' to each of three family computers. If we buy a Mac, will
iCal accept them? Or do we have to use bootcamp, re-boot, open
Outlook, and accept? Or???

If iCal supports iCalendar format, then you should have no issues. Outlook
sends meeting requests in iCalendar format over the Internet.
