Does anyone know how to eliminate the message below?
'outlook blocked access to this potentially unsafe attachment'
I've saved web links in here (from MS as a matter of fact). This all worked
under EXCH5.5 and did work under EXCH2K until about 3 days ago. Now I cannot
open them. I've found nothing in the MS KB that is of any value.
Here is what has been done so far (to no avail):
1) My registry at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\x.x\Outlook\Security
String: Level1Remove : values: .htm; .html; .asp; .aspx; .url
2) According to web links, I've also placed PERIOD before each extenstion.
Then the infamous MS reboot and still no go.
The only other thing is there is an Entry for Level, which is 3. I've tried
1 and 2 (again according to docs on sites).
Also, our Exchange server has no policies enforcing disabling of extenstions
etc.
The reason for this madness is that we constantly post htm and html docs
into a public folder so they can be accessible from anywhere (i.e. OWA etc).
tx in advance
