Hello. I work in a law office which requires multiple
users to access the attorney's calendars. For reasons I
won't go into, the public folders dont' exactly suite our
purposes. I have the following questions,

1. Is it possible to add another users folder (i.e.
their calendar) to a delagates outlook bar? (for easy
access)

2. Is it possible to keep two folders (calendars) in
synch, similar to the online-offline functionality.

I've been reading the InsideOut Books for OL02 and cannot
find anything regarding this. Am I on a fools quest, or
is there a way? Thank you for any assistance.

Gene,

You can add the mailbox to the delegate's profile using the following steps
(Outlook 2002):

1. On the Tools menu click Email Accounts.
2. Select "View or change existing email accounts" and click Next.
3. Select "Exchange" and click Change
4. Click More Settings.
5. On the Advanced tab click Add.
6. In the Add Mailbox dialog enter the alias for the mailbox owner.
7. OK your way out of the dialogs.

The mailbox will now appear in the folder list for the delegate. Any folders
for which they have correct permissions will be accessible from the list.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much!! I have been losing sleep over this
problem and your solution does the trick.

In order to make this work, I also needed to assign
permissions to the outlook today folder for the attorney
as well.

Thanks again!
