Outlook auto receive

I have my Outlook set to auto send/receive every 1 minute. It is not
working. I can only receive emails when I select the send/receive button on
the tool bar. How can I fix this? I'm working on a new PC with Office 2003
and XP Pro.

Any advise is greatly appreciated! I did not have this problem before
transfering my email account and archive messages to this new PC.

Do you receive any errors? If you extend the polling time to five or 15
minutes does anything change?
