Outlook auto deleting read emails from inbox.

How do I stop Outlook from deleting any read emails in the Inbox when I close
it? Can find the auto delete control for the Delete folder but nothing about
auto deleting from the inbox.
 
Check your View and make sure it's not set to view only Unread Messages. The
check all your Rules.
