Outlook authentication over VPN

On a Windows XP machine I'm connecting over a VPN and
successfully logging onto a domain and browsing network
shares. However when trying to connect to Outlook it
prompts for domain logon details and I get the error "Your
logon information was incorrect. Check your username and
domain then type your password again..."

This process is completely successful on a Windows 2000
machine.
 
Try posting this to an outlook newsgroup. They are more aware of the
issues with Outlook connections over a VPN than we are around here...
