Steve

I'm not sure if this is even possible but if it is I'd appreciate some
help.

I have a school email account but I like to use Outlook to view all my
mail so I forward all school mail to my comcast account and just filter
it to its own folder. My school account doesn't have pop or imap so
that's why I can't access it directly and have to forward it.

The problem is when I view it in Outlook all my emails from school are
sent as attachments. Is there a rule or something I can create to have
them show up normally instead of as attachments? It's just a PITA to
open up every email like that.

Thanks

No - that is controlled by the sending account. One advantage is that you
can more easily reply to the sender from the open message.

What type of mail server does the school use? Does it support redirecting
instead of forward?

The sender determines the format. What type of mail access do you have from
your school?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Steve asked:

The school uses Novel Groupwise Webaccess I believe. I've checked the
settings for the school account and it only supports forwarding. I'll
check again in case I missed some settings but I doubt it.

Thanks for the replies. It was worth a shot:-p

I was hoping it was Exchange web access - you can use Outlook 2002/2003's
HTTP/WebDav protocol to open it in Outlook. :(
