Outlook as contact manager - also vs Goldmine

Hi,

Want to use Outlook as contact mgmt tool. Add contact,
then keep track of how many times I need to contact them
per month or year, reminder for when to contact them,
short note for results of calls.

Thought of Excel, but want to have reminders and
everything in same place.

Also, wondering if a package like Goldmine would be
preferable.

Personally, I don't see Outlook by itself as a contact manager. There are
others available that seem, from reading their descriptions, more suited to
what you want to do. There is also a product called "Business Contact
Manager" that is part of the Office Business suites that adds this type of
functionality. See
