Outlook and using word as editor

When I check the box to use word as my email everytime I
open an email it says/looks for my officeXP cd to
install "Visual Basic for Applications". First I put the
cd in and checked to run VB from my computer, it
installed but when opened email same error. so I put the
cd in and checked the to run the entire shared folder and
all of its componets from my computer. It said it
installed and I got the same error again when I opened
another email. Any other suggestions.
 
1. Have you installed all the relevant patches for your Office version?
2. Have you run Detect and Repair?
3. Are the versions of Outlook and Word the same?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to the
Swen virus, all e-mails sent to my actual account will be deleted w/out
reading.
