I've just started using Outlook as my newsreader, but there's one thing I
find a little vexing. Maybe someone here can enlighten.

After I select a newsgroup to read, and Outlook lists all the messages, I'm
not able to return to my list of newsgroups to check other groups. I'm sure
this is simple matter of configuring the toolbar so that I can return to my
newsgroup list. I just can't figure out how to do that.

I'd be much obliged for any tips.

You can do two things -- make the Folder List visible by going to View |
Layout and checking the Folder List box; and add the Newsgroups button to
your toolbar.

Note that if you are accessing the newsgroups via View | Go To | News in
Outlook, you are actually opening up a "news only" version of Outlook
Express. Outlook uses Outlook Express as its newsreader; it doesn't read
newsgroups on its own. Therefore, although you could post newsreader
questions in the Outlook groups, you may get faster and more accurate
answers to your OE questions if you post them to an OE group. If you need
help finding one, please post back.
