I just upgraded to Office 2003. Afterwards, the "news" command that
normally links Outlook to the Outlook Express news reader stopped working.
In fooling with it I managed to remove it from the tool bar entirely and
ithe news command is no longer in the customize/commands/Go command list or
anywhere else. I can start Outlook Express separately but it is certainly
less convenient than clicking on "news." I tried reinstalling Office but it
didn't bring "news" back.

Has anyone experienced -- and solved -- this problem?

Thanks

Mack

To get the News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control Panel |
Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express. If
OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you launch
it, click the "Don't ask me again" box and then click the No button.

You may need to reset the menu or toolbar using Tools, customize.
