I have a Toshiba e740 PDA, amd want to sync a personal address book from
Outlook 2003. I don't want it to go into my same outlook contact folder on
the PDA. What can I do to correct this?

Thanks,
Mark Cooper

But the Contacts folder IS the address book in Outlook 2003.

Brian,
True. I should have mentioned I have Outlook Express 6 at home, and that is
the real address book I want to keep separate from the Outlook Calendar. It
is personal use versus Business. I know they can be flagged I was just
hoping there was another way to have two separate ones.

Thanks,
Mark

They are separate. Outlook uses the Contacts folder and Outlook Express
uses the Windows Address book. At one time, there was a way to tell Outlook
to use the Windows Address Book, but I can't remember what it is any more
and I can't find it in OL 2002.

Other way around. Outlook could never use the WAB. You could (and
still can) force the OE to use the Outlook Contacts Folder instead of
the WAB: http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/oeshare.htm

Ah. It's been so long since I did this, I could remember. Thanks for
setting things straight.
