How do I export my address book from Outlook 2000 so that
I can import it onto outlook 200 on my laptop. Do I have
to export a whole .pst file which will include all mail?
Can't find a way to do it. please help

You can export just your Contacts Folder to its own PST file if that's all
you need.

Only, don't export it. Just create a new PST file and COPY the contents of
the Contacts folder to it. Then copy that PST file to the laptop and open
it there in Outlook.

Agreed, for the most part. It becomes a toss of the coin when it comes down
to a single Contacts Folder, however. Most users are more familiar with and
accustomed to the export process, which I completely eschew when it comes to
entire PST files or users with custom forms. But for a single Contacts
Folder, export seems to work fine. Now that Outlook 2003 is in play,
however, that may all change.
