I use Outlook 2003. I am having a problem getting Personal Folders Back-up
add-in to install properly. I downloaded pfbackup.exe from Microsoft. I
signed into my computer as Administrator and ran the executable. It appears
to have installed perfectly and is visible as "back up" in the "file" menu
of outlook. I signed out of my admin account and signed into my limited
user account I use for everyday tasks. I went into outlook and found that
"back up" doesn't appear in the "file" menu. Why is this? How can I get it
to install to all users on my computer? Not just admin. Any help anyone
could give me would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Jake,
so you have to give the "normal" User admin permissions during the
installation.
After the installation you have to cut him this permission.
Maybe this works

Hi Jake,

Thanks for your posting here.

Based on my research, you can use the Msiexec utility with switch
"ALLUSERS=1" to install the Personal Folders Back-up add-in for all the
users. To do so:

1. Uncompress the pfbackup.exe file downloaded to the folder "C:\pfbackup".
2. Click Start, Run, and type "MSIExec.exe /ic:\pfbackup/pfbackup.msi
ALLUSERS=1". NOTE: "ALLUSERS" should be uppercase.
