Problem started recently: upon replying to a message or forwarding it (from the inbox) the message "disappears." It is not moved to another folder, including deleted massages. I have checked and the Auto Archive function is not on nor are any Rules. I have also opened the PST files. Not there either. Anybody have an idea what may be wrong? Think reinstalling would fix this?
Thanks.

Look at Tools, Options, preferences, email options, advanced, save forwarded messages - is it ticked

Make sure you've set your View to "Messages"

It's probably just hidden. Check View | Current View -- is it set to
"Unread messages"? If so, that explains the problem -- when you reply to a
message, it becomes "read" and so it disappears when an "unread messages"
view is set. Change the view back to Messages and your hidden messages
should reappear.

Also, make sure you're not sorting your Inbox on the Icon column, which can
also appear to hide messages.
