Outlook 97 on XP

I have Windows XP and I just installed Outlook 97 onto my
computer. After installation, I attempted to open Outlook
and I get the error that the program has to shutdown and
the option to send a report or not send a report. Why
isn't it working? The rest of Office 97 works fine.

Did you configure a mail profile in Control Panel>Other Control Panel
Options>Mail?

(That's where Office 97 places the Mail applet. Other versions, like Office
2002, places it in Control Panel>User Accounts>Mail.)
