running Pocket PC 2003 with Windows Vista Beta 2 with Outlook 2007 beta. I
try using the Vista Sync tool and it connects and transfers notes but it says
that outlook has not been configured? any help?

At least now I know I'm not the only one with the exact same problem.

I'm not sure if the email/calendar/tasks portion is not enabled yet, or if
MS is working on a bug fix for this.

I would suggest that they make Activesync 4.2 compatible with both WM2003
and Vista.... But who am I to make them do this?!?!? LOL

further clarification. The sync tool works and my Pocket PC connects Dell
Axim X3i, i can transfer notes but it says OUTLOOK IS NOT CONFIGURED when
attepting to set up the transfer or syncing of E-mail, Calendar or Contacts.

That's the same issue I'm having.

Not sure if you've tried it yet or not, but try creating a new Outlook
profile. I tried it on my end, but it didn't work. Maybe it will work for
you.
