2 questions:
1. Does this only work with VISTA?
2. Does anyone know the price to upgrade from 2003. I may be a little
dense, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I am running a single work station.

Actually.....

It will not install on Vista RTM. I tried and the SQL 2005 Express needed
for BCM is still not compatable with Vista.

It seems kind of strange that MS would release a part of Office 2007 that is
not compatable with Vista.

BCM is compatible with Vista, just click past the warning and install
sql.

The issue is that by default sql places database files under the
Program Files folder, which is forbidden by Vista security. BCM has
always specified that database files be in the folder of the user
creating the database, so BCM will wotk with Sql on Vista, but other
apps may fail. I know Office Accounting/SBA has changed in the latest
version, and is also placing its database files in the user folders, so
that should also work with Vista despite the warning.

Mel,

I was trying to find out the price of an upgrade from 2003 since I just
bought a new laptop with the 2003 Office. But, it turns out there is no
upgrade price if your Office did not come previously installed on your
computer. You basically have to buy a whole new one if you installed it
yourself. That is what the customer service person told me...
