Outlook 2007 trial problem

I have just downloaded and installed a trial version of Outlook 2007, and
most all options are disabled. Why is that?
 
Did you activate it?

After furious head scratching, K. Gaby asked:

That fixed it. When it asked me to activated, I thought that it wanted me to
purchase it. I did not realize that I needed to activate the trial copy.
