Outlook 2007 Reocurring Task

Currently when I have a reocurring task if I add notes and complete it. The
reocurrance happens and has the notes contained in it. Is there a way to have
the reocurrance cleared out but the notes stay in the completed task?
 
open the reocurring task and check for the range to recurrence. Be sure to
give an ending date to stop the recurrence. Your last saved will remain on
the list as complete.
